Harley-Davidson’s new Forty-Eight offers custom styling for barely over 10 grand, but the just-unveiled CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide takes over at the other end of the spectrum, becoming the most expensive bike in the Harley lineup with a price tag of $36,499. But before you dismiss the CVO’s premium positioning, consider that Harley’s biggest sellers are their high-dollar touring bikes, all but ensuring that this low-volume model will sell out.
Only 999 of the new CVO Ultras will be built, and the bike features approximately 185 blacked-out components, as well as a handlebar-mounted Garmin Road Tech zumo 660 navigation unit and the usual CVO fixins like a Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine, heated saddle and grips, LED saddlebag lights, a passenger backrest with adjustable lumbar, and more.
